The Apple Numbers package contains actions that enable you to automate many of the repetitive tasks when working with Numbers (spreadsheet).
Important: This package is only available
on the macOS platform for building automations.

With Apple Numbers
package, you can perform the following key operations:
- Create and manage spreadsheets: You can add, remove, or rename multiple sheets or tables within a Numbers spreadsheet to organize different sets of data effectively.
- Adding and formatting data: You can manually enter data into cells and format them to present information in a variety of ways, including text, color numbers, dates, times, percentages, currencies, and more, enhancing the clarity of your data.
- Working with formulas and functions: You have the capability to perform both simple and complex mathematical operations on the values within your tables, enabling you to analyze and manipulate your data more efficiently.
Before you start
Perform the following actions within the Apple Numbers
package as part of using the set of available actions:
- Open the spreadsheet that you want to use to automate the Apple Numbers-related tasks. Use the Open action to open the spreadsheet.
- Use the different actions available in the Apple Numbers package to automate the Apple Numbers-related tasks.
- After you have automated all the Apple Numbers-related tasks, close the spreadsheet using the Close action.
